Eisner Health’s obstetricians partner with certified nurse-midwives to provide high quality prenatal care during and after childbirth. Our OB/Gyns and certified nurse-midwives are in the hospital 24/7 for childbirth care. We are experts in high-risk births, such as women with diabetes, twin pregnancies, and vaginal birth after Cesarean section (VBAC).

Parking Information – Hospital parking on Grand Ave. is $7 per day. A discount parking pass ($35.00 for seven days) is available for Joe’s Auto Parks. Their office is located on the first floor of the parking structure (southeast corner of Grand Ave. and Venice Blvd.)

Location Information – The California Hospital main entrance is located on 1401 S. Grand Ave. The hospital entrance is open from 5:00a – 9:00p. The emergency entrance is located on 1338 S. Hope St., and remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you are going into labor and are less than 20 weeks pregnant, go directly to the emergency room.

COVID-19 Protocols – One visitor over the age of 18 is allowed to join pregnant patients at the hospital. Every patient and visitor arriving before 8:00p will be screened for symptoms on arrival in the main lobby. After 8:00p, patients/visitors must enter through the emergency room where they will be screened before going into labor and delivery.

Additional Information – Taxi vouchers are available upon request for patients that require transportation to California Hospital Medical Center.
